No doubt over the course of your life you will have heard about the idea of a ‘God’ and about someone called ‘Jesus’. You may well have thought about some of the “big questions” too, like:
- Why is there something rather than nothing?
- Why are we here?
- Who am I?
- How should I live?
- Does my life have purpose?
- What happens after I die?
- Is there a God?
- What are good and evil?
‘Exploring the Gospel’ will aim to provide some answers to those questions and will help you explore some of these questions too:
- Who is the God that I have heard about? Why is he relevant to me?
- Who is Jesus? What’s his relationship with God?
- What did Jesus preach and do in his life? Why is he meaningful to me?
- What kind of person do I want to be? What kind of life do I want to lead?
- What does believing in Jesus mean for my future?
- Why do people from across all countries, social classes, and backgrounds believe in Jesus and feel connected to God? Why do they find the same goodness and purpose in them?
- Most importantly, do I want to have faith in this God and in this Jesus?
‘Exploring the Gospel’ is a course that shares answers from the Bible about all of these questions.
It hopes to help you work out whether you want to follow God and Jesus in your life.
Which is something that Christians would say is the best thing you can do in your life – as it will lead you to realise not only all of your potential but all of your purpose too; and, will result in deep peace and joy both now and forever.
Something which it’s really important to make a decision about. Because knowing and understanding God and Jesus and the gospel, puts every aspect of our lives – and the wider world we live in – into perspective.
‘Exploring the Gospel’ is a course shared by the Christadelphians, a Bible-believing community of Christians whose beliefs are founded on the good news of Jesus Christ and the Kingdom of God.
